1st rule of Happiness:
Random luck never lasts long, because it does not depend on you. Only you yourself can create long lasting real Happiness.
2nd rule of Happiness:
Many would like to possess Happiness, but only few decide to go on a quest to find it, to understand what Happiness is and how to be Happy. The quest involves taking responsibility for yourself, exploring what your values are, to find out what happiness means to you. Happiness is often found when and where you decide to seek it.
3rd rule of Happiness:
In case you’re not lucky, not content, lacking Happiness, it could be that the circumstances in your life are the same as before: stagnation being the result of unchanged circumstances. Make sure the circumstances in your life – your job, relationship, where you live, how you live – are aligned with your values.
4th rule of Happiness:
Creating circumstances for Happiness means creating circumstances that benefit you AND others. Including others in your benefits will attract Happiness.
5th rule of Happiness:
Don’t procrastinate. In case you delay the creation of the right circumstances – I’ll start tomorrow.. – you might never invite Happiness in your life. Creating circumstances requires taking the first step… Do it today.
6th rule of Happiness:
Sometimes Happiness is not in your life, even though the necessary circumstances seem to be present. In that case, look for the smallest details, (re)search for circumstances that you’ve missed or that may seem superfluous…. yet are still indispensable!
7th rule of Happiness:
A person who only believes in coincidence, thinks that the creation of good circumstances is absurd.
A person who is dedicated to creating good circumstances, does not care about coincidence.
8th rule of Happiness:
No one can sell Happiness.
One cannot buy Happiness.
9th rule of Happiness:
Having created all the right circumstances, be patient, don’t give up, hold on.
Have faith that Happiness will come.
10th rule of Happiness:
Creating Happiness equals creating good circumstances for chances. By creating chances that fit your values and needs AND benefit others, you create Happiness. Remember, chances are not a matter of luck or coincidence: there are and always be chances for you to spot, create and take. You need to become aware, see the chances, invite them into your life, be brave enough to take action.
If you look for happiness within yourself, within the talents and opportunities you have and within the right circumstances you create, you will find it. You create and maintain your world and your Happiness with your thoughts and feelings and finally, by your actions
